For stores, boutiques, salons and coffee shops: build a base of preserved and faux greenery once, then change only the accents for each season. Everything goes back in its box and comes out again next year, so after the first year a new window costs you almost nothing.

Build once, restyle all year

The base stays in the window all year. Each season, you only add a few accents on top.

A floor of preserved moss and a cloud of baby's breath: the part of the window that stays. Build it once, keep it for years.

What you gain

Your window over 3 years

Buy it all again each yearReuse it
Year 1: base + 5 seasonal looks $667 $667
Year 2 $667 $50 of new accents
Year 3 $667 $50 of new accents
Total $2,001 $767

About $1,230 saved over 3 years, and from year 2 a new seasonal window costs about $10.

Example for a small store window at current SecondFlor pro prices, before volume discounts. Base: 1 bulk box of sheet moss and 6 bunches of baby's breath ($234). Seasonal accents: $74 to $108 per look (roses, peonies, hydrangeas, poinsettias, wreaths).

  • No florist, landscaper or decorator needed. Preserved stems arrive ready to use: you place them, you don't arrange them. Anyone on your team can change the window in an hour.
  • More impressive than plastic. These are real roses, hydrangeas and moss. Up close they look and feel natural, so passers-by stop, look again and walk in.
  • No last-minute rush. Prepare the next window weeks ahead. Nothing wilts, nothing has to be bought the day before.
  • No waste. Nothing goes in the trash at the end of the season: it goes back in its box.

Pack it, store it, reuse it

  1. Dust. A hair dryer on the cool setting, before you take the window down.
  2. Wrap. Put each piece back in the box it came in: the original packaging protects it best.
  3. Box. A closed box, at room temperature, away from light and humidity.
  4. Label. One box per season: "Valentine's", "July 4th", "Holidays".
  5. Refresh. Next year, add a few new accents and ribbons: the window looks new.

Sunny window?

Direct sun fades preserved flowers over time. In a window facing the sun all day, use UV-resistant faux greenery for the base and keep preserved stems inside the store.

UV-ready base

Malls, hotels and event venues often check holiday decor. Only our preserved reindeer moss currently has a US fire classification (ASTM E84 Class I).

For florists and window dressers

Sell windows that come back every year. Use preserved and faux greenery with real arguments: natural plants, a realistic look, no maintenance in the store.

  • Quote lower, earn more. The props are reusable, so you can charge less than a full redo each season. Your materials cost per change drops from about $90 in year 1 to about $10 after that.
  • Rent the decor. Take the seasonal accents back after each season and reuse them, for the same client next year or for another one.
  • Sign a yearly plan. Base installed once, then 4 to 6 changes a year: recurring revenue, planned in advance.

Frequently asked questions

How early can we prepare seasonal decor?

As early as you like. Preserved and faux pieces don't fade or dry out before installation. Store them dry and away from light.

Can we reuse the decor next year?

Yes. Put each piece back in its original box, away from dust and humidity, and refresh it with new ribbons or accents next season. That is where the savings come from.

Do I need a florist or a decorator?

No. Preserved and faux stems are placed, not arranged: no water, no foam, no conditioning. Anyone on your team can change the window.

What should we use in a sunny window?

UV-resistant faux greenery for the base. Keep preserved flowers for the inside of the store, away from direct sun.

Do artificial garlands and wreaths shed?

No. Unlike cut evergreens, they keep their shape and don't drop needles in a heated room.

When should we order for the holidays?

Orders ship in 24 to 96 hours from Georgia. Order a few weeks before Thanksgiving to build your window calmly.
