  • Variation in size and shape

General: Preserved flowers are natural. Variations in sizes, shapes, and colors can exist between elements of the same reference. Some parts may present slight defects (slightly split petals, damaged sepals…).

Use: Remove the corsage from its box and unwind the bracelet. The bracelet rolls up on its own and adapts itself to each wrist.

Humidity: If the humidity is too high, a few drops of color may run off the flower. Darker colors stain more easily. Do not put it in contact with another flower or a light colored porous material to prevent it from bleeding.

Light & heat exposure: The flower exposed to the sun for extended periods of time may discolor – Exposed to heat, it dries out.

Evolution over time: Over time, flowers tend to wither and fade more or less. Dark colors discolor more than light ones. Ferns tend to wilt more or less and tips curl up.

Made from preserved flowers and foliage, this elegant corsage will keep its beauty for a long time to come, preserving the wonderful memories associated with it.

What is a flower corsage?

The word corsage comes from the French term “bouquet de corsage”, meaning a bouquet of flowers worn on upper part of the body (“Corsage” means girdle in French.), which was traditionally worn by women to weddings and funerals.

This accessory is usually made from flowers. Although they can be made from fresh flowers, the use of preserved flowers for this type of accessory is particularly appropriate.

Indeed, a corsage made from preserved plants has many advantages:

  • They are easy to store in your shop without worrying about keeping them cool and refrigerated. It means: no waste.

  • You can offer your customers a product that they can keep for many years as a souvenir of this unforgettable evening.

  • No risk of allergy

Are prom corsages still a thing?

Traditional corsages are still the “standards” for prom season but pin-on corsages are less in demand. In recent years, wrist corsages remain the most popular choices for the occasion. These are more modern accessories that enhance the outfit without obscuring the carefully chosen attire of the prom-goers.

Wrist corsages are also popular, as they can easily be worn to other occasions such as weddings, summer festivals or any other occasion where an elegant accessory is required.

What is the most popular flower for prom corsage?

Rose is often preferred as a base for a corsage as they symbolize love and elegance. To enhance it, we combine it with small flowers such as heather or rice flowers. Some foliage can also be integrated to green up the accesory, just like a small bouquet.
