Rose Bubble: A 4-Minute Preserved Rose Gift Tutorial

A preserved rose in a glass bubble: a 4-minute tutorial for a small gift that sells all year in gift shops, florists and salons.

Rose bubble

A preserved rose head, a few strands of miscanthus and a bed of reindeer moss, all in a glass bubble: a small gift that takes about 4 minutes to make and sells all year round. It is an ideal product for gift shops, florists and salons, and a nice table decoration for events.

Material

You will need :
– 1 preserved rose
– 3 bit of preserved miscanthus
– Preserved reindeer moss
– Floral foam
– A cookie cutter
– A container
– Some tools

Step 1

Cut out the floral foam using a cookie cutter. Then attach a circle of floral foam to the bottom of the container using glue (hot to low tension).

Step 2

After crumbling the reindeer moss, arrange it in the container, all around the moss.

Step 3

Prick the three strands of miscanthus together in the floral foam.

Step 4

Glue and stick the rose in the floral foam, then cover it with lichen. Then perform self-locking of the miscanthus in the bubble.

Bonus

You can make several of them and sell them together as a centerpiece or table runner. Or you can just sell one as an everlasting display decor.

How to price and sell it

  • Low material cost, high perceived value: one rose, a few strands of miscanthus and a pinch of reindeer moss per bubble.
  • Impulse purchase: place a few bubbles near the register, in several colors.
  • Seasonal versions: red for Valentine’s Day, pastel for Mother’s Day, white for weddings.
  • Events: one bubble per guest makes a lasting wedding favor.
